Choose it for how you film
The Pocket 3 is an alternative to carrying a camera body, lens and separate stabilisation setup for casual travel video. It is particularly worth considering if your usual footage is a walk, a brief explanation to camera or a view of the place you are visiting.
Portability comes with limits
A fixed wide lens simplifies shooting but does not replace a range of lenses for distant subjects. Protect the moving gimbal when carrying it. Check microphone and handle contents when comparing the standard package with a Creator Combo; accessories should solve your recording needs rather than simply fill the bag.
Canadian travel considerations
DJI lists operation from 0°C to 40°C. That makes freezing outdoor trips a poor assumption for uninterrupted use. Plan around the documented limits, and check the manual for care and charging. We have not tested cold-weather endurance or stabilisation performance. If detailed still photographs are the priority, also consider an interchangeable-lens camera.
