Specification research draws on sources such as manufacturer documentation and retailer information. It does not imply that we have used or tested a product. When we publish hands-on testing, the article should describe what was tested, the conditions and the limitations.

Comparisons and buying guides

Comparisons bring relevant specifications and trade-offs together. Buying guides should explain their selection criteria and who each option suits. Missing information should remain identified as unknown rather than being filled with assumptions.

Prices and availability

Retailer prices, stock, delivery costs and promotions can change. Check the retailer's current listing and final checkout total before purchasing.
